Privacy Policy (GDPR) for INDUSTRISALG AS Customers

INDUSTRISALG AS protects the privacy of its customers, their contact persons and stakeholders. This privacy statement is intended to explain how. INDUSTRISALG AS collects and uses your personal data, as well as your rights. INDUSTRISALG AS is considered the controller under the Personal Data Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), for the processing of personal data. INDUSTRISALG AS performs in connection with the conclusion and fulfillment of agreements and other contact with customers. As the controller, INDUSTRISALG AS is required to process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act, GDPR and other, at any time, applicable laws and regulations. In cases where INDUSTRISALG AS uses other suppliers and these process the personal data of the customer, their contact persons and stakeholders, INDUSTRISALG AS's supplier has corresponding obligations regarding the processing of personal data.

Below is an overview of the personal data we process about our customers, their contact persons and stakeholders:

Existing customer relationships:

• Name, organization number or date of birth, identification from the account applicant, customer number, telephone number and email address(es) as well as contact person(s), possibly with corresponding contact details.
• Billing address and delivery address(es)
• Information about contractual relationships; purchases, returns, complaints, and customer contact with information from email, contact form, SMS and telephone.

Other inquiries:

• If you contact Industrisalg AS for a quote, we will process your name, organization number, customer number, contact person(s), telephone number and email address(es), as well as the results of any credit assessment.
• If you contact us with requests for information or other matters, we will process the information you provide in order to respond to and follow up on your inquiry.
• INDUSTRISALG AS invites those who like our posts on social media to like our pages/channels. We do not store information about you as a user other than that your likes are visible on our page to others. INDUSTRISALG AS also does not transfer any information from the various social platforms to other channels or parties.

INDUSTRISALG AS collects, stores and uses personal data to follow up on inquiries, administer and fulfill entered into agreements, organize and plan INDUSTRISALG AS's work, ensure security and maintenance of IT services, prepare reports and statistics to evaluate, improve and develop our existing and new offers and marketing activities. INDUSTRISALG AS may also contact the customer and their contact persons for marketing via e-mail unless the customer/data subject has opted out. INDUSTRISALG AS may also conduct a credit assessment before a customer relationship is established.

The customer must ensure that there is a valid consent or other legal basis for the processing of the personal data that the customer provides to INDUSTRISALG AS. Personal data is stored and processed in Norway under a standard EU model agreement in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. INDUSTRISALG AS processes the data for as long as the purpose of the processing requires. After this, the data is deleted in a secure and proper manner, unless it is anonymized or there is another basis for storing the data longer. INDUSTRISALG AS does not use personal data for decisions that are solely based on automated processing or for profiling, unless we obtain your explicit consent.

The personal data that INDUSTRISALG AS processes mainly originates from the customer; the person who has established the customer relationship or those whom the person has indicated as contact persons. Some information also comes from us or the companies INDUSTRISALG AS engages to assist in connection with shipping, maintenance, service, credit assessment, customer service and follow-up, invoicing, auditing, service development and delivery of IT services. These companies process your personal data on our behalf for the limited purpose that is necessary for them to perform the assistance and in accordance with entered into data processing agreements. Your personal data will not be disclosed to others unless you have given your consent to this, or INDUSTRISALG AS is legally obliged to such disclosure.

The legal basis for processing your personal data is mainly the conclusion and fulfillment of customer agreements. When it comes to other inquiries and contact, the basis will be consent or a balancing of interests. INDUSTRISALG AS has assessed that there is a legitimate interest in answering and following up on inquiries, as well as sending marketing, newsletters and providing information about our business to our customers unless they have opted out / unsubscribed. INDUSTRISALG AS has assessed that there is no legitimate interest in using cookies on our websites.

All data subjects have the right to receive information about which personal data is processed by INDUSTRISALG AS. All data subjects also have the right to request that personal data be deleted or that incorrect personal data be corrected. Deletion of personal data cannot be done if this is required to fulfill the agreement or otherwise stated in Norwegian law or a court or authority decision. In some cases, you have the right to data portability of your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consents, object to automated decision-making processes and profiling.
